Training Courses
CEA has experience in all of the stages required to effectively carry out credible environmental risk assessments and present them in the appropriate format to regulatory authorities. Regulatory specialists require an effective understanding of the environmental risk assessment process and CEA offers generic or bespoke courses. In addition, environmental risk assessment specialists also require training or refresher courses. We have trained the EU Member State specialists in the use of the FOCUS surface water models (December 2002) and run courses open to anyone. CEA specialists also regularly present at training conferences run by IBC and IIR.
We can:
- Provide bespoke training at either our own facilities or those of the client.
- Place interested parties onto an email-alert system to inform on planned open courses and presence of CEA personnel at training conferences.
Examples of CEA training courses:
- Approaches to chemical environmental risk assessment.
- FOCUS groundwater, surface water and kinetics modelling frameworks.
- Interpretation of Higher-Tier Effects studies.
Upcoming courses:
- FOCUS Degradation Kinetics Workshop (2nd & 3rd May 2007). Click here for more details
