Environmental Risk Assessment & Modelling

Paul is an environmental risk assessment expert with high-level problem solving skills in the area of environmental behaviour of chemicals. He is skilled in the use of European Community mathematical models to contribute to environmental exposure aspects of registration dossiers for chemical substances as required by Regulation EC1907/2006 (REACH) and Directives 98/8/EC (Biocidal Products), 91/414/EC (Plant Protection Products) and 2001/82/EC (Veterinary Medicine Products). Paul specialises in the interpretation and modification of exposure estimation frameworks and models to develop refined approaches to environmental risk assessment, and has contributed to working groups establishing guidance documents for biocides.
