Landscape Modelling & Risk Assessment

A qualified ecologist, Hester specialises in working with (and developing) geographical information systems and spatial data sets for environmental assessment, analysis and reporting. She has particular knowledge of the range of national and European spatial data currently available both from government and from other organisations. She has 8 years’ experience in the use and integration of these data, both for environmental assessments and for modelling exercises. Hester has GIS skills in terms of data manipulation and analysis, and is experienced in the use and extension of the ESRI suite of GIS software. She is involved in higher tier risk assessments, working on spatial issues.
